About the Forum

The IEDC Annual International Presidents’ Forum is the event of the year that regularly attracts numerous top executives and governmental representatives from the region and beyond. The topics of the forum reflect the most current issues impacting business processes and world economies. The speakers of the forum are prominent thought leaders and experts in their respective fields. Consequently, the forum serves as an excellent platform for exchange of opinions and creation of ideas, as well as an ideal setting for networking and establishment of new cooperation. 

About the Topic

The topic of the forum “Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on Leadership” will be elaborated in-depth by Dr. Daniel Susskind of Oxford University who will confront the issue of our automated future that is exciting but at the same time troubling. The impact of technology on business and leadership in particular will be explored by leadership experts Prof. Pierre Casse and Prof. Paul Claudel, while an extra dimension to the debate will be brought by Frank Barz, T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH, Deutsche Telekom, Germany and Nicholas Zhang, Huawei, China.

The discussion panel that will follow the lecture will allow both participants and speakers to present and question current best practices and arising challenges.

The forum will be opened by Prof. Danica Purg, the dean at the president of the IEDC-Bled School of Management. The program of the forum starts at 09:30 and finishes at 14:00 with a traditional reception at the IEDC-Bled School of Management.
