About the lecture
Data, knowledge and information are vital components of effective leadership, but they’re not the only things that leaders need to motivate and inspire their teams and organizations. Should leaders look around them seeking more information and data, or should they rather look inside and start with reflection to lead wisely? Humility, judgment, empathy, and compassion are equally—if not more—important.
In his lecture, Prof. Manfred Kets de Vries will focus on reflective leadership that comprises wisdom, reflection, and courage emphasizing the Golden Rule—treating others like you would like to be treated—and learning to listen intently and actively. His talk will touch upon ways to find happiness and fulfillment in your work as you lead others with compassion and empathy.
Prof. Manfred Kets de Vries, Distinguished Clinical Professor of Leadership Development and Organizational Change INSEAD, France, and chairman and Co-founder of The Kets de Vries Institute
