AI: How Small Countries Can Compete Against Big Players

Artificial intelligence is racing to become the next big thing in technology. It appears that Silicon Valley companies and large multinationals are the best positioned to dominate this space. What of the smaller countries who aspire to have their own tech sector growth? Is it too late? Can small countries leapfrog existing players? What are some of the strategies that small countries can pursue to achieve lasting assets and sovereignty? Prof. Philip Parker, INSEAD Chaired Professor of Management Science and Professor of Marketing at INSEAD, who specializes in using AI methods in the field of forecasting, innovation diffusion, and content creation, will focus on demystifying the field of artificial intelligence and its four core branches.
