Open only to IEDC alumni of PhD, MBA, GMP, YMP and DMP programs, this special one day course was developed by Prof.Randy Kudar, Accounting Lecturer of the IEDC.
this course is about?
Management accounting is much more than simply keeping track of the numbers. A clear understanding of the managerial economics of choices could assist you in making better decisions, or in preventing you from making bad decisions.
In this seminar, we will explore a number of different methods by which you can organize your costing data to assist you in implementing your strategy for your outputs and to your customers.
We are going to look at four different models for organizing your cost data to address specific issues, including introducing innovative products into a market, dealing with existing processes and their utilization, bidding successfully in highly competitive markets, and understanding the dynamics of your own business.
will it look like?
The seminar will consist of case studies to address these issues. This is not for the quantitatively challenged. There will be numbers, many of them. We will conclude the seminar with a construct of how several different models fit into strategic choices.
A special message from Prof.Randy Kudar: "As always, if I discover that you have made poor decisions by misusing your management accounting knowledge, I will show up when you least expect it to revoke your diploma from IEDC" :)
