How to “Jumpstart” and Boost Your Resilience  - Your Key to Success at Work and Satisfaction in Life

„More than education, more than experience, more than training, it‘s resilience that determines who succeeds and who fails.“ Dean Becker, CEO, Adaptiv Leaning Systems
„How Resiliency Works“, Harvard Business Review, 2002

Since the beginning of human history, the life complexity we face today has risen exponentially over the last thirty years. In the fast pace of change and constantly rising expectations, especially in the difficult business and economic times of the last ten years, people face more than ever the challenge of limited resources – both at work and privately. This calls for resilience skills more than ever before as daily stress or challenges like large-scale change, ambiguity and uncertainty often lead to loss of energy, productivity and problem-solving skills, which induces feelings of frustration and despair. This causes serious profit losses and competitive disadvantage for companies all over the world.

Having the right resilience skills set can help you “jumpstart” and gain back your strength and energy level. You can become more productive again and take back control of your life by staying more focused and solution oriented. Moreover, you would dare reach out to new experiences and challenges and rise to higher levels of potential.

In this session, Steffi will show you what resilience have to do with your mindset, i.e. your thinking style, and what is the key success principle for becoming more resilient – at work, at home and everywhere in between. She will also talk about the currently most validated assessment tool for resilience profiling, the Adaptiv Resilience Factor Inventory®. Working with it, has proven to help identifying thinking traps more effectively. It provides also the skill set for long-lasting results in changing disadvantageous behavior and thus boost your resilience. Along the way, she will give you practical tips and “take aways” for how to get started with some “fast resilient skills” for calming and focusing.
