About the Seminar
Board members are increasingly asked to participate in discussions that relate to the interfaces between business strategy, financial policies, and company financial performance. This seminar focuses on exploring a few essential financial concepts and frameworks that can help non-financial board members to ask the right questions during these discussions. The seminar blends tools of analysis with practical application in the context of five sequential case studies that follow the evolution of a single global company as it redefines its business strategy and continually assesses the evolution of its financial performance over a time period of 25 years.
