Career overview

Professor Dubravka Sinčić works as a full professor (tenured) of marketing at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics & Business. She currently holds a position of a Head of English-taught Bachelor Degree In Business study program, and Head of English-taught Master Degree In Business (Marketing) study program. She was a Head of Department of Marketing (5 yrs). As an author or co-author, she has published more than 50 scientific papers, two scientific book, two university textbooks, and conference presentations in her research fields. In 2001, and 2020 she received “Dr. Mijo Mirković” award for textbook, and scientific book, as well as the “Fedor Rocco” award in 2017 for the scientific paper. She was a visiting lecturer at Wirtschaftsuniversitaet (WU) Wien for two years, and held guest lectures in the USA, Canada, over Europe and Croatia.

External activity

Dubravka Sinčić is a member of editorial board for Zagreb International Review of Economics & Business, and Ekonomski pregled scientific journals. She is a regular reviewer for many journals and conferences in the field of management, marketing and B2B marketing, and an active researcher in many scientific competitive projects, financed by the Croatian Scientific Foundation, European commission (HORIZON), Polish foundation NAWA, and other international competitive projects. She is a member of Main board of Croatian marketing association CROMAR, and a member of EMAC.

Dubravka Sinčić has an extensive experience in consultancy work, especially as a moderator or facilitator of organizational processes in companies. She is an expert in scenario planning methodology. She also served as a President of the Working group for the development of the identity and brand of the Republic of Croatia appointed by the President of the Republic of Croatia H.E: Kolinda Grabar Kitarović (2018). She currently supports as a consultant the organization of UNWASTED Summit devoted to sustainable development practices.
