Franjo Bobinac obtained a degree in international economic relations from the Faculty of Economics - University of Ljubljana. He completed his MBA studies at the Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Paris.
Mr. Bobinac has international experience in various business functions, and holds in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge.
During his career, he was a Managing Director at Gorenje’s branch office in Paris from 1993 to 1998. Between 1998 till 2003, he was a Vice President for sales and marketing in the Management Board of Gorenje Group. In 2003, he was appointed President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Gorenje Group. He held this position until 2019. In September 2018 he was appointed Vice President of Hisense International Co., Ltd, responsible for global marketing, a function that he still performs today.
Mr. Bobinac is also Member of the European Executive Committee of Trilateral Commission, Honorary Consul of Monaco in Slovenia and the President of the Slovenian Handball Association. Occasionally lectures at various institutions at home and abroad.
