Rebecca Kalt has been working for GKD for 12 years as Head of Global PQS (Process Quality and Sustainability). She has both a technical degree in textiles and an MBA. She has many years of experience in the field of management systems, particularly in the areas of energy and environmental management. Due to the cross-functional integration of all processes and the global orientation of her function in the organization, she is involved in all activities related to sustainability at GKD, both in terms of research projects and optimization approaches worldwide.  Since the end of 2022, she has headed the sustainability working group of the VDD (Association of German Wire Weavers), where she actively drives forward activities relating to more transparent emissions determination in the supply chain and the implementation of sustainable topics in the industry. As she is not only responsible for the topic of sustainability in the organization, she also focuses strongly on the implementation of efficient processes and the standardization of framework conditions through new management systems.
