Bled, October 1, 2021: We had a very successful IEDC HR forum entitled “Post Pandemic HR: Redesign of work, learning and reskilling”, which brought together 70 participants from 58 organisations from 15 countries. The forum was delivered in a hybrid format.
Distinguished domestic and foreign HR and leadership experts and managers presented trends and novelties in the field of HR initiated by digitalization and Covid-19 pandemic.
Keynote lecture of Prof. Dr. Walter Jochmann, Managing Director and Partner at Kienbaum Consultants, Germany, was complemented by presentations of Dr. Anne-Marie Karl (Kienbaum Consultants, Germany) and Yogi Sriram (Larsen Toubro, India).
The roundtable discussion was led by Dr. Drikus Kriek and HR managers and experts:

- Ivan Papič, Head of Legal Affairs and Human Resources, Slovenian Railways

The results of the research of Association VTIS (Association of Slovenes Educated Abroad): How do globally attractive employers attract and retain talents? was presented by Kristi Hodak, (VTIS & McKinsey & Company, UK).
If anything became clear during this Covid period, it is the importance of digitalisation. We discovered the weaknesses and vulnerability of our systems. We also discovered whether we have the skilled people to operate in a digital environment, and how much reskilling is needed.
