Bled (Slovenia) 21 September 2016: Winning team of the 5th IEDC Global Case Study Competition is the one from Devin JSC, Bulgaria.
Global Case Study Competition is the contest organized by the IEDC Alumni Clubs in the respective countries of the clubs. The main goal of this initiative is the promotion of business education. This year the competition took place in 6 countries: Croatia, the country in which the whole idea originated five years ago, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia, Romunia, Bulgaria. The winning team of each country had the opportunity to present its company and country on the Global Case Study Competition, which concluded on 22th of September.
Among six great finalists: Apatinska Pivara (Serbia); British American Tobacco (Macedonia); Danfoss Trata (Slovenia); Devin JSC (Bulgaria); Hewlett-Packard d.o.o. (Croatia) in Orange (Romunia), the jury (dr. Brane Kalpič, IEDC; prof. dr. Arnold Walravens, IEDC, Aleš Srebot, MBA Alumnus, Telekom;), decided that the winning team of this refreshing, stimulating and dynamic two day contest, is the one from Devin JSC.
The international winner - company DEVIN JSC, which holds a number of certificates for the quality of mineral and spring water DEVIN, issued by Bulgarian health institutions as well as the prestigious German Institute Fresenius - will be awarded by IEDC with a two-day customized program for the company that sent the team.
This competition is just one of many initiatives of IEDC Alumni Network which operates locally via 15 IEDC Alumni Clubs, which are designed to offer a chance to connect, exchange ideas, and share intellectual, social, and career opportunities.
