The IEDC Alumni LED Conference 2024 takes place in Hrastnik, Slovenia
On April 4, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ง๐ข ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ took place in Hrastnik, Slovenia. Organised by the IEDC Alumni Club Slovenia and IEDC Alumni Club Croatia and the school, the conference took place in the headquarters of the glass-manufacturer with a long history, Steklarna Hrastnik d.o.o.
Yesterday, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ง๐ข ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ took place in Hrastnik, Slovenia. Organised by the IEDC Alumni Club Slovenia and IEDC Alumni Club Croatia and the school, the conference took place in the headquarters of the glass-manufacturer with a long history, Steklarna Hrastnik d.o.o. It was great to hear our alumni stories: Peter ฤas, the CEO of Vaider Group, General Manager of Steklarna Hrastnik and SFS, Slovenia, shared with us the secret component of making amazing high-quality glass, that »magic touch« that employees of Steklarna Hrastnik apply when using advanced machinery and their new furnaces. Tomislav Alagusic, CEO, Zvijezda ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ, Croatia, shared with us not only why he left his first job in accounting, but, what all these years have been like for him - growing within the company to the top management position, while his son’s illustrations in the presentation meticulously depicted all the stages he went through. Vita Godec, Managing Director of Lenis farmacevtika, Slovenia, put a great presentation together highlighting what an introvert like her deals with when "Managing People as a Generalist and an Introvert", and that, highly successfully. Matija Subasic-Maras, Member of the Management Board, Zagrebaฤki holding d.o.o., Croatia, in a very structured and systematic way, the way she also likes it, highlighted how much resilience and ability to learn and communicate with various stakeholders are the traits that helped her get to where she is now. We thank our hosts in Steklarna Hrastnik d.o.o. for a very heart-warming welcome and for the opportunity to see the magic process of glass making at the site. See you at our next alumni events!
