About the Forum

The IEDC Annual International Presidents’ Forum is the event of the year that regularly attracts numerous top executives and governmental representatives from the region and beyond. About the Topic

»Beyond AI: How Neurosciences and Biology will Change our World and how Leaders Should get Prepared for it«

Today, many executives and senior officials are struggling with their digital transformation, and rightly so because an organization that would not embrace digitalization would soon be dead. However, and whatever the complexity of the digital transformation, one should not stop at looking at the other elements the future is preparing for us. Major transformations are arriving that will change drastically our society and companies, at least as much as what the digital transformation did. Adapting to them, and forecasting today these new disruptions, is a matter of medium to long term survival. They include the new developments of AI, that some see as an avatar of digitalization (which it is not), the arrival of applied neurosciences, the coming wave of genetic sciences that are going to change our world, as well as a number of major sociological changes, in particular around the new values within our societies, the new ways to treat communication and the new approaches to what is considered as « truth ». This conference will deal with these forces and their implications for management.
