How

is the Technical Leadership Program structured?

The Technical Leadership Program draws on the experience from one of the most successful IEDC offerings, the General Management Program (delivered since 1987 with more than 1530 participants). While it is designed for busy managers, limiting the absence from the organization to one week at a time, it covers multiple topics with sufficient depth to provide for significant learning.

The program develops over six modules of five days each, delivered in principle once a month. While it includes 16 courses and an individual project, it effectively covers many topics, some specific for a given course and others (such as responsible leadership or effective business development) integrated into multiple courses. Each module comprises some topics delivered by FER faculty and others delivered by IEDC.

Why

enroll in TLP?

On the one hand, participation in the program will allow you to develop your personal managerial and leadership competencies in a structured way, based on the courses as well as on the evelopmental feedback you will receive during the program. Latest research shows that, when hiring STEM profiles, leadership competencies are increasingly important, but often lacking. This adds to the TLP relevance. On top of that, the program will stretch your personal network within the corporate sector and add to your leadership resolve.

On the other hand, your organization will have immediate benefits from your participation in the program. Not only will you be able to apply the practical learning from the program to the important challenges your organization faces, but you will also be better prepared to connect to other stakeholders important for the organization’s success and approach the strategic issues in a holistic way. Also, your TLP project will help resolve a strategic problem within the organization. After successful TLP completion the participants will receive joint FER – IEDC certificate.
