About
the lecture
In 2013, two academics shared the Nobel Prize in Economics for seemingly contradictory viewpoints and empirical evidence on how financial markets price risky financial assets, including equity shares.
The first part of this master class session will explain briefly the arguments and empirical evidence provided by both Nobel prize winners. The second part of the session will highlight lessons learned from three very successful equity stock market investors (John Maynard Keynes, John Templeton, and Warren Buffet). We discuss their stock market investment strategies in the context of the Nobel prize winners’ findings and in the context of current levels of global and regional stock prices.
The presentation will be essentially non-technical (non-mathematical) and is designed to accommodate attendees who have limited or no financial background.
