After graduating from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Ms. Nevenka Kržan started her professional journey in the banking sector in various management positions. Among others, she was a member of the board and president of the board in different financial institutions and a fund management company. She participated in the formation of a new commercial bank and fund management company and was involved in the first wave of privatization.

At the end of 1998, Ms. Kržan joined KPMG and became responsible for establishing the advisory practice at KPMG in Slovenia. In 2001, she became a regional partner for financial advisory. As part of her studies at INSEAD International Business School in Paris, she participated in the development of new strategies for KPMG global.

In 2010, she took overall responsibility for managing the operations of KPMG in Slovenia and became Senior Partner. In 2017, she was re-elected for a two-year mandate as President of AmCham Slovenia.
