René Schmidpeter is General Secretary of the World Institute for Sustainability and Ethics (WISE). He is IEDC lecturer and holds the Dr. Jürgen Meyer Endowed Chair of International Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility and is the director of the center for advanced sustainable management (CASM) at Cologne Business School. He is editor for the renowned Springer’s CSR, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance book series and founder of the International Journal of Corporate Social Responsibility (JCSR). His research and teaching activities focus on the management of Sustainability and international perspectives on CSR, Social Innovation and Sustainable Entrepreneurship.
