Bled (Slovenia), 11 July 2018: The international summer schools of management, organized by IEDC already for the last 25 years, so far attended by over 2.500 young people, this year attracted 100 present and future managers from 20 countries, who came to Slovenia in order to gain new knowledge and spread their international networks, while they were enthusiastic also about Bled and its surroundings.
From the middle of June till the middle of July Young Managers Program (YMP), designed for those who recently assumed management positions took place at IEDC, again in two editions due to a great interest; it was attended by 79 young managers from 18 countries. In the first half of July IEDC hosted another group of young graduates and students, who participated in the Discover Entrepreneurial Management Program (DEMP), an intensive seminar, which does not require preliminary knowledge from the management field. The young people were characterised by curiosity, eagerness to learn new things, willingness to take an active part in the program and to share experience with the colleagues from all over the world.
By completing the Programs participants of IEDC Summer schools became also the members of IEDC Alumni network which today counts 5.210 participants from 75 countries of IEDC graduate programs and summer schools and provides a fantastic platform of many opportunities for networking, socializing and creating new business and personal connections.
