Many international companies are continuing with management and leadership development in spite of COVID-19 restrictions. Yesterday, IEDC marked a start of Abbott Russia Drive Your Leadership Potential modular program with a motivational webinar. Abbott Russia and CIS General Manager Inna Bakumenko in her introductory word mentioned that »leadership is also being a good listener« what leads us to the hope that the program will close with an inspirational graduation ceremony at the Bled Castle with a leadership masterclass with music, demonstrating, among others, also the leadership skill of listening.
Abbott Russia approached IEDC in 2017 with a suggestion that IEDC prepares a proposal for a modular leadership and management program for HiPo middle managers so that Abbott Russia ensures strong talent pipeline of successors for management team. IEDC responded by designing a Drive Your Leadership Potential in several two-three day modules. 28 high potential leaders worked together from September 2017 to December 2018 in order to grow as leaders, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, management’s roles and responsibilities, build a solid foundation of the core business functions that drive the organization and solve a problem for the company.
In 2020 a new group is starting the program of an adjusted design, since half of the modules will be run in on-line format, using IEDC MiTeam platform.
