Vienna/Bled: September 24, 2019: IEDC – Bled School of Management organized a conference on “Artificial Intelligence and the Future of the Professions and Management” led by Dr. Daniel Susskind in a beautiful premises of Palais Eschenbach in Vienna, Austria.
The event was attended by over 100 business leaders from Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Serbia Slovakia and Slovenia.
Conference was opened by Dean Danica Purg and Dr. Erhard Busek, Chairman of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe and President of IEDC-Bled School of Management Supervisory Board.
Dr. Daniel Susskind, author of the best-selling book The Future of the Professions: How Technology Will Transform the Work of Human Experts, held a keynote speech on Artificial Intelligence and professions of future. The topic of the conference reflected an amazing technological advance that is already transforming our present and our future. In a very interactive session that followed, guests and Dr. Susskind addressed many positive and negative aspects of AI and how are we going to develop and fill in the gap of skills that will be needed in future professions.
The impact of artificial intelligence on the future of the professions and management was explored also by a panel of academic and business leaders: Dr. Ara H.
