Bled, May 31, 2022: IEDC welcomed 18 students + 1 accompanying professor Prof. Arnold Schuh as a part of IEDC field trip of Vienna University. The students are part of the Master Class CEE at WU Vienna - Doing Business in CEE they take courses in Newer history of CEE, Intercultural competence in CEE, Strategies and management for CEE and Labor and skill shortage in CEE.
They were welcomed at IEDC by Prof. Danica Purg, President of IEDC and Mr. Boštjan Skalar, Business Director and attended a lecture on Current Management Challenges in CEE led by Dr. Nenad Filipović. The lecture was followed by a discussion on People and Culture Function in times of disruption, led by Mr. Gregor Rajšp, HR Director, Pivovarna Laško Union and Board Member of European Association for People Management and President of the Board of Slovenian HR Association.
In the afternoon, they visited the island on Bled lake and enjoyed traditional Slovene cuisine in Lectar restaurant in Radovljica.
