Miha Pogačnik, IEDC: You cannot imagine how powerful that is!
Oakland (California, USA), 31 August 2016: 'Where Management & Slam Poetry Collide' is the title of the article published by Poets&Quants, a news website devoted to the coverage of business schools. The story is about Miha Pogačnik, classical concert violinist and leadership consultant, who is also an adjunct professor at IEDC. He gave the interview on the occasion of the Art of Management & Organization (AOMO) Conference.

The eighth biennial Art of Management & Organization (AOMO) Conference (1-4 September) was hosted at the IEDC-Bled School of Management. "They won’t be there to just talk. Organizers have integrated artistic performances into the conference as well. Perhaps the act that draws the most excitement will be an opening-night musical performance by Miha Pogačnik," writes Mrs. Nishihara, writer at Poets&Quants.

"On the first day of AOMO Conference this year, Pogačnik will work with the Terra Parzival Symphony Orchestra to guide conference attendees through what he calls “performance disruption.” The goal, he says is to use musical architecture to explore a unique leadership learning experience. Participants will be seated within the orchestra, each no more than 2 meters from a player. “Everyone is within the musical process as it unfolds,” he says. “You cannot imagine how powerful that is.”
