Craig Simpson

ORTalent

Craig helps CEOs and CHROs make their toughest leadership calls: who can
actually execute the strategy, who's ready for what’s next, and what's quietly
holding the top team back.

O.R. Leadership has quietly earned a reputation a trusted name in leadership advisory
working at the CEO and C-suite level with organizations including Booz Allen Hamilton,
USPS, Target, British Airways, Erste Group Bank, McLaren F1, MassMutual, Jaguar and
Land Rover, Slalom Consulting, the International Rescue Committee and Wake Forest
University.

Craig works with CEOs and top teams across the U.S. and Europe on leadership
selection, succession planning, leadership strategy, top team performance and
leadership development. What sets the work apart is the combination of rigor and
depth. He brings behavioral science, commercial acumen and a human touch to his
work.

Craig trained as a clinical psychologist, earning his Doctorate from the University of
Manchester and practising in Manchester and his hometown of Edinburgh before
moving into leadership consulting. That psychological foundation: understanding what
actually drives someone, what derails them, and what they're capable of becoming
remains at the heart of how he and his team work.

He joined Organisation Resource in 2004, working globally with senior leaders and their
teams, before founding O.R. Leadership in the U.S. in 2012. He is Associate Professor at IEDC-Bled School of and Associate Faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership.
Outside work, Craig puts in the miles on his road bike, travels and explores with his
family, and plays the drums in a rock band.
