Andrej Šolinc is an entrepreneur,
ecosystem connector, and CEO of CEED Slovenia, a 20-year-old entrepreneurial
organisation with 1,200+ members — exclusively founders and successors of
growing SMEs. He works with organisations that create real, tangible impact;
his simple rule: if the mission or vision needs a long explanation, it’s
probably not the right place for him.
As a student, Andrej co-founded DHH
International, a tech company he bootstrapped and grew for 16 years, taking it
all the way to a public listing on Borsa Italiana. This experience gives him a
deep understanding of the challenges founders face across the entire entrepreneurial
journey.
At CEED, he focuses strongly on SME
founders and successors, especially on business succession — one of the most
urgent challenges for Slovenia’s future. CEED supports both next-generation
leaders stepping into ownership and founders preparing to hand over companies
built over decades.
He is passionate about building
practical, peer-driven communities and collaborates with Early Warning Europe
and the Gazelle Awards. Andrej connects entrepreneurs, investors, institutions,
and international partners, helping foreign companies explore opportunities in
Slovenia and supporting local founders expanding globally. He believes growth
happens when the right people meet at the right time — and works to make those
connections possible.
