Archibald Kremser is Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO of NLB d.d., (Nova Ljubljanska Banka), a public listed company and the parent entity of the NLB Group, the leading banking and financial group with headquarters and an exclusive strategic interest in Southeast Europe (SEE), with presence in six markets of former Yugoslavia, including Slovenia.

He joined NLB as CFO in 2013, seeing NLB through the demanding process of privatization to today’s successful business operations. NLB has a market capitalisation of approx. EUR 2.5bn, total assets of some EUR 26bn and net-profit (2023) of some EUR 550mln. NLB is directly supervised by ECB as systemically important bank for the Eurozone.

Archibald Kremser has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry in Austria, CEE and SEE, focusing on finance and asset management, strategy, and corporate development. Before joining NLB, he worked for Kommunalkredit Group, Ernst & Young/Cap Gemini and Bain & Company. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from University of Technology in Vienna and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, France.
