Dimitrij Zadel graduated in mechanical engineering. Between 1994 and 2003, he occupied key positions in the company Trgoavto d.o.o. (commercial vehicle sales company). Between 2001 and 2003, he acted as director general. In 2003, he moved to OMV Group where he was general manager of OMV Slovenija d.o.o. and, in line with the Group's strategy, also in charge of restructuring and reorganisation of the OMV subsidiaries in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Italy. Between 2013 and 2017 he was director and retail manager of OMV companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Following the resolution of the company's supervisory board, on 29 December 2017 he commenced his five-year term of office as president of the management board of Luka Koper, d.d.
