Medeja Lončar is CEO
at Siemens in Slovenia (the regional company of Siemens AG) since 2007 and
Siemens in Croatia since 2018. Before accepting this function, she managed the
Communication Division and was Head of Business development. In her 30-year
long career Ms. Lončar was a member of management teams of successful Slovenian
and international companies in several sectors: mobile communications, retail,
industry and utility. Her main managerial focus is strategic development, sales
and marketing, and she has rich experience with change management in
organizations.
Besides managing Siemens
Company in Slovenia, Ms. Loncar is actively involved in many strategic projects
locally and in Adriatic region. During her 17-year career at Siemens, she successfully
steered the company and positioned Siemens regional company as benchmark for
Lean organization. She was appointed as Head of Digital Factory for Adriatic
region in 2015.
Medeja Lončar is
actively involved also in Slovenian and Croatian business environment and is
frequently invited to speak at conferences on topics of digitalization and
Industry 4.0, female representation in management boards and business ethics. In
2020 she was appointed President of the Managers’ Association of Slovenia and
also holds the role of Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the Slovene-German
Chamber of Commerce. She's an active member of Croatian-German Chamber of
Commerce and Managers' Association of Croatia.
