Peter graduated and obtained his master's degree at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. Throughout his professional journey, he perfected his knowledge in business and economics, including those at the IEDC - Bled School of Management.

Before joining Steklarna Hrastnik in May 2017, he was leading career in production-based companies where he gained unparalleled experience in the technical space, while also establishing himself as a respected leader.

His key strategic goals include achieving operational excellence while simultaneously setting new standards for transforming companies from traditional to modern - all on the solid foundation of both social and environmental responsibility. Under his leadership, Steklarna Hrastnik significantly increased investments in the latest and cleanest glassmaking technologies. With such an approach, the company further solidified its position in the niche segment of the highest quality glass packaging.

Recently, he expanded his existing roles and operations to the level of manufacturing companies Steklarna Hrastnik in Slovenia and SFS Paraćin in Serbia as the CEO of Vaider Group.

As a leader, he believes in open communication and transparent relationships. In management, he places great importance on operational excellence, flexibility, customer orientation, and care for employees and the environment. Above all, he recognizes the importance and responsibility towards the people and the environment coexisting with the company he leads.
