Saša Vidmar Curk acts as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development Consultant and leads the Sustainability Team at Lidl Slovenija. Working alongside an international team, she has spent years spearheading the company’s comprehensive sustainability and climate strategies and has overseen the production of the company’s Sustainability Reports.

Her work also focuses on fostering sustainability knowledge and awareness among employees, while ensuring the seamless transfer of the Lidl Group’s global best practices and goals into the local environment. By aligning these international standards with national goals and practices, she ensures that the company’s sustainable impact is both globally consistent and locally relevant.

In 2023, she became the first professional in Slovenia to be named "Strategist of the Year", a prestigious title awarded by the Slovene IRDO Institute (Institute for the Development of Social Responsibility).
