Prof. Orešković has a rich experience in science as a researcher and professor at a number of world-leading universities and as a manager of large private companies, international projects, and academic institutions. He is a compassionate proponent of the far-reaching role of education in both business and society. He is a full professor at Zagreb School of Medicine and the founder and director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Center for HIV Strategic Information
He is a majority shareholder of the M+ Group, an important BPTO and CX player in Europe, and the leading independent BPTO services provider in Southeast Europe. M+ Group employs over 10,700 people based in 14 delivery centers across multiple countries and continents, providing client support and managing customer experience for 220 companies in 32 languages across the globe.
Professor Orešković is the Principal Investigator (PI) of the Pfizer Inc. GLOBAL GRAND Project (2018-2023), which includes 63 clinical and behavioral team members from the Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital, Medical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana and the Medical Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zagreb. He was a principal investigator for 14 internationally financed projects and co-led and initiated several important projects, including “Ethical Responsibilities of Universities” at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University.
Professor Orešković has also conducted joint educational, research, and consulting projects, taught and directed conferences with the London School of Economics and Political Science, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Università Bocconi, Università di Trieste and the University of Ljubljana. He is a Fellow at the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital Harvard Medical School, an Associate at Harvard Medical School, Blavatnik Institute, Department of the Global Health and Social Medicine Center for Bioethics, and an adjunct professor at Indiana University – IUPU.
He has authored a total of 156 reviewed articles, books, and book chapters (Google Scholar h-index 19 and i-10 index 33) with the world's leading publishers, such as Springer Publishing, Elsevier Science, Wiley-Blackwell, Pergamon Press, and Cambridge University Press.
He worked as a consultant for international organizations such as the World Bank, the European Commission DG Science, and the World Health Organization.
His key projects, activities, and editorial articles were presented in world-leading scientific journals such as The Lancet and the British Medical Journal. His work was praised in the books "Global Health Leadership and Management" (Foreword by David Rockefeller), "Global Health Disparities" (Enku Kebede Francis), and "Urban Health "(Foreword by Michael R. Bloomberg). He has written and commented for leading international media including Bloomberg, Huffington Post, Reuters, Associated Press, CNN, BBC, and RTL.
