March 19, 2019, Ljubljana: Dr. Xiaobo Wu, Director of the National Institute of Innovation Management at Zhejiang University and the former Dean of the School of Management, Zhejiang University addressed the Slovene business community and shared some insights on the growing economy in China and presented some examples of Chinese “unicorns” - start-up companies with a value of over $1 billion. During the lecture, he spoke about some specifics of Chinese companies with an emphasis on change management, investment in development and human resources which make Chinese companies the most competitive in the global market.
The lecture was followed by a roundtable with Klod Kolaro (General Manager, Comtrade System Integration International), Gregor Humar (Vice President, CosyLab) and Yuan Kehua (Economic Consultant, Embassy of the People's Republic of China).
The event was organized in cooperation with Slovene Chamber of Commerce and its Association for IT and Telecommunications. Introductory speeches were held my Nenad Šutanovac, Director of Association for IT and Telecommunications, Sonja Šmuc, Director of Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Danica Purg, Dean and President of IEDC.
The conference was attended by 150 guests from the Slovene business community, government and media representatives.
