The Supervisory Board of IEDC has appointed Dr. Alexandra Vacroux as President of the Management Board, effective October 1, 2026. She will be joined by Viktorija Radojević Mavrič, Vice-President for Transformation and Operations, and Nina Remškar, Vice-President for Strategic Projects.
Dr. Vacroux brings extensive international experience in academic leadership, institutional development, and strategic partnerships. She spent 15 years as Executive Director of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University and serves as Vice President for Strategic Engagement at the Kyiv School of Economics. She is already familiar with IEDC through her involvement in the School’s Future 500 initiative.
Viktorija Radojević Mavrič and Nina Remškar bring extensive knowledge of IEDC, its programs, partners, and international community. Together, the three members of the Management Board will combine international perspective with institutional experience as IEDC enters its fifth decade.
Since its establishment in 1986, IEDC has developed a distinctive approach to management education, combining academic excellence with responsible leadership, ethics, personal development, the arts, and experiential learning.
The appointment of the new Management Board comes at a time of significant change in both business and management education. Artificial intelligence is transforming how knowledge is created and applied, how organizations operate, and how leaders make decisions. At the same time, geopolitical and economic changes are creating new demands for executives and organizations.
Against this background, IEDC’s new leadership team will focus on strengthening transformational learning with measurable impact, expanding the School’s international partnerships and presence, and preparing leaders and organizations for an increasingly AI-driven economy, while preserving the values and educational philosophy that have defined IEDC throughout its history.

IEDC also extends its sincere thanks to Prof. Mislav Ante Omazić for leading the School through an important period of transition. Prof. Omazić will continue as Acting Dean of IEDC – Bled School of Management, Postgraduate Studies, focusing on academic development and working closely with the new Management Board. This will ensure continuity in the School’s academic work while the new leadership team focuses on IEDC’s broader institutional and strategic development.
Over four decades, IEDC has built an international community that today includes more than 6,000 alumni in 75 countries, alongside its faculty, corporate partners, entrepreneurs, universities, and institutions across Europe and beyond.
This community will continue to play an important role in IEDC’s future development. Initiatives such as Future 500, together with the School’s growing collaboration with companies and international partners, provide a foundation for expanding IEDC’s reach and impact in the years ahead.
As IEDC enters its fifth decade, the School will continue to build on the principles that have shaped it since its founding, while adapting its programs, partnerships, and educational approaches to the changing needs of leaders and organizations.
