IEDC-Bled School of Management is very proud of the great cooperation with one of the top Chinese business schools, School of Management, Zhejiang University (SOM ZJU) from Hangzhou. In these difficult times of COVID-19 epidemic, it is even more important to have good friends and SOM ZJU is definitely one of them. On April 10, 2020 we received from SOM ZJU a donation of 700 face masks, of which some were personally donated by the Dean, Prof. Wei Jiang, and Associate Dean for Research and International Affairs, Prof. Weihua Zhou. Thank you very much indeed for this kind gesture!
As a business school, our goal is to have a positive impact on the society, usually through teaching leaders about ethics. Face masks are a necessary equipment in fighting the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) and since these days the demand is bigger than supply, we decided to donate half of the masks to the Health Center in Bled and Municipality of Bled.
The face masks were accepted by Director of the Health center in Bled, Dr. Leopold Zonik, and Mayor of Bled, Mr. Janez Fajfar.
We greatly appreciate the kind donation of SOM ZJU. This is a great example of international solidarity!
