Bled (Slovenia) 11 December 2015: On the occasion of Generali Alumni Achievement Award Forum five IEDC Alumni were given the 2015 Generali AAA: Mioara Bolozan, from Romania; Alexey Minyaylo, Russia, Alexander Ryjov, Russia, Darko Mikec, Slovenia; and Violeta Bulc, Slovenia.
"We are proud that the Alumni Achievement Award which we launched in 2011, at the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of our school, became traditional and today we will award already for the fifth time five most successful IEDC alumni for demonstrating and representing the highest ideals that personify outstanding individual career achievements, leadership, innovation, service to the community, as well as the contribution to the school’s development," stressed prof. Danica Purg, President and Dean, IEDC.
This year the jury (Gregor Pilgram, CFO, Generali CEE Holding, Dr. Peter Kraljič, Professor and Supervisory Board member, IEDC, Mr. Ciprian Scriecu, Managing Partner, Bomboniera (MBA Alumnus 2002 and last year’s Generali Achievement Award Winner) and Prof. Arnold Walravens, faculty member, IEDC) selected five winners.
The 2015 Generali AAA winners are:
Mioara Bolozan, Marketing Manager Romania of Whirlpool Romania srl, Romania.
Violeta Bulc, EU Commissioner for Transport, Slovenia;
Alexander Ryjov, Professor of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Russia;
Alexey Minyaylo, Partners happiness director of “Games of the Future” non-for-profit organisation, Russia;
Darko Mikec, General Manager of Damatech d.o.o., Slovenia.
On the occasion of Generali AAA Forum Violeta Bulc, EU Commissioner for Transport, and IEDC Alumna (PMBA 2002), stressed: " Business education provides thinking frameworks, tools for daily use, global knowledge but above all, it provides an environment where leaders can practice multicultural behaviour, cross-border cooperation and diversified emergence of new ideas. IEDC is a small business school with a big heart… And this is so often the case with all successful and sustainable projects."
