Winners of the 2016 Generali AAA
Winners of 2016 Generali Alumni Achievement Award are Cristian Laurentiu Gheorghe, Romania; Edmond Haxhinasto, Albania; Dijana Kobas Dešković, Croatia; Mateja Luštek, Slovenia; and Marko Majer, Slovenia.

Ljubljana (Slovenia): On the occasion of Generali Alumni Achievement Award Forum five IEDC Alumni were given the 2016 Generali AAA.

"We are proud that the Alumni Achievement Award which we launched in 2011, at the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of our school, became traditional and today we will award already for the sixth time five most successful IEDC alumni for demonstrating and representing the highest ideals that personify outstanding individual career achievements, leadership, innovation, service to the community, as well as the contribution to the school’s development," stressed prof. Danica Purg, President and Dean, IEDC.

This year the jury: Dr. Peter Kraljič, Member of IEDC Supervisory Board, Slovenia, Gregor Pilgram, CFO, Generali CEE Holding, Dr. Arnold Walravens, IEDC - Bled School of Management, the Netherlands, Darko Mikec, MBA 2000, AAA 2015 selected five winners.

The 2016 Generali AAA winners are:

Cristian Laurentiu Gheorghe, EMBA 1999
Nexus Consulting International; Managing Partner; Romania

Cristian is one of the most experienced Human Resource consultant in Romania, having worked for almost 20 years in the field. His company is known for building and delivering training programs for managers, consulting services and executive search projects that are successfully accomplished. Cristian is active Alumni of IEDC, always staying in contact and promoting its values by own example and offers active support of recognition of IEDC in Romania.

Edmond Haxhinasto, EMBA 1996
Politican, Albania

Edmond was involved in the political life since early 90’s and his consistent hard work, objective and professional approach supported a steady and gradual growth in his career path as Public Servant. He has held a variety of senior and ministerial posts from foreign policy, economy and infrastructure development in this period of over 2 decades. Edmond is a symbol of a new breed of young Albanian politicians, devoted, with a new outlook on country’s development path and political dialogue, bringing an example of a technical approach to political issues, far from the pathos of the mainstream politics, and always with a respectful, civilized and intellectual discourse style and message to both common and educated people.

Dijana Kobas Dešković, GMP 2002
Spona Communications, Director, Croatia

Dijana developed innovative approach of gender equally by inventing, developing and extending new approach that could change the culture in the participating companies. Within her private life, raising her family besides making outstanding career in large companies, she has entered her private entrepreneur projects that reflects both passions in her life - family and job.

Mateja Luštek, EMBA 2010/11

Mateja is one of the stones on which Studio Moderna is built, and with her hard work, together with founder of Studio Moderna, she has proven that only sky is the limit. Mateja is an example of the passionate leader whose leadership base on hard work and thus many experiences.

Mayer McCann, Founding Partner & CEO, Slovenia

Marko is pioneer and founder of Slovenian advertising industry, his name is linked to many well-known national and international advertising project.  Marko passionate develop further not only himself as professional, beside his managerial and advisory job, but is he actively educating new generation of professionals in advertising. Marko participate very actively at many IEDC stages and events and is supporting IEDC very actively.
