Bled, Slovenia, May 18, 2019: The Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Slovenia, in collaboration with Ivan Patzaichin and Bled municipality, organized a rowing contest on the beautiful Lake Bled.

The main attraction of the competition were the boats, canotcas, a rowing boat with unique design, created by Romanian woodwork craftsmen.

In every boat were 11 rowers and IEDC team was composed by IEDC MBA and GMP participants: Miruna Mitu, Cristian Negru, Alexandra Anca Spirescu, Valentin Cinca and Andrei Ghimpau and IEDC colleagues: Tina Prevodnik and Gregor Repe.  

Among 9 competing teams, IEDC team came second. Sincere congratulations!

The Rowmania rowing contest is a campaign organised in order to promote ecotourism and its principles, with emphasis on the valorisation of local heritage and natural resources and one of the promotional activities of the Embassy of Romania in Slovenia during the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
