Prof. Danica Purg visits China and gives speeches at the high-level “Belt and Road” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit in Zhejiang University School of Management and at the School of Business, Nanjing University.

Among nine competitors: Alarm automatika, Cemex, Franck, HEP, HPE, IN2, JGL, Styria and Vipnet; the jury decided that the winning team of IEDC Case Study Competition is the one from HEP.

Six companies operating in Serbia competed in the IEDC Case Study Competition organized by IEDC Alumni Club Serbia and led by Igor Kordik, PMBA. Prof. Randy Kudar, Professor Emeritus from Richard Ivey, Canada, presided the jury together with Lana Krunić and Bora Češljević, IEDC MBA graduates and announced that the winning team of fifth IEDC Case Study Competition in Serbia is the one from Coca-Cola Hellenic Serbia.

Bled and Ljubljana (Slovenia): For the fifth time, IEDC is a proud partner of the unique media-research project called The Golden Thread (Zlata nit). The conference is taking place on Thursday, 23th of March, in Ljubljana, featuring IEDC experts: Dr. Filipović and Mr. Pogačnik.

Four companies operating in Bulgaria competed in the IEDC Case Study Competition. Dr. Nenad Filipović, Professor of General Management at IEDC-Bled School of Management presided the jury and announced that the winning team of third IEDC Case Study Competition in Bulgaria is the one from Coca-Cola European Partners.

IEDC organized its first HR Brunch in Zagreb, Croatia. The free HR event was led by Prof. Drikus Kriek, Vice Dean for Pedagogy and Executive Director of the PhD programme at IEDC-Bled School of Management.

IEDC concluded a Study field trip for IEIBS Academia group of students in Slovenia, Austria and Germany focusing on the theme of “European Business Culture”. The program included lectures of IEDC Faculty, company visits and other meetings as well some social activities.

IEDC welcomed 35 HR managers from Slovenia at the HR brunch event, where Prof. Nenad Filipović gave a lecture on “The Role of HR in the Process of Company (Digital) Transformation”.

IEDC welcomes 40 alumni from different programs, generations and 8 countries at the fifth alumni refreshment course.

New generations of International Executive MBA Class 2017 and Class 2017-18 started their studies at IEDC-Bled School of Management.

Third face-to-face gathering of PRME Champions for the 2016-2017 with Global Forum for Responsible Management Education takes place at IEDC-Bled School of management.

The program includes lectures of IEDC Faculty, company visits and other meetings as well some social activities. In the frame of this program IEDC will sign Memorandum of cooperation with IEIBS.

Selection Committee of The Scholarship Fund of Young Managers Section decided that Mrs. Saviola Shahollari from Albania is this year's winner of the scholarship.

Tomaž Schara, the IEDC doctoral student, Partner & CEO of Be Solutions, defended his dissertation entitled: »Integration challenges of the European Union: The Case of formation of a single European rail area« under the mentorship of Prof. Richard Common, The University of York, UK.
