The Green DigiHub project for Startups and Social Enterprises was established by a consortium of four European partners, which is, besides IEDC, consisting of AMOR (Bulgaria), Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA), Sofia University (Bulgaria), and LIBA (Lithuania), to contribute to improving the entrepreneurial skills of young people by focusing on AI and digital tools to start and manage social enterprises.
The consortium is addressing the need for innovative solutions in regions facing energy transitions to create green new businesses and startups. The project will enhance digital literacy, boost youth employability, and foster a community of socially and environmentally responsible entrepreneurs and improve employability, digital learning tools, and sustainable green entrepreneurship. The project will:
- enhance digital literacy,
- boost youth employability, and
- foster a community of socially and environmentally responsible entrepreneurs.
Over the next two years, the four institutions will develop and implement an AI-Driven Capacity Building Course, digital learning tools for young entrepreneurs, and role-playing simulations to help develop entrepreneurial skills. The resources will be hosted on an accessible e-learning platform, providing theoretical and practical knowledge for managing startups.
The partners are all complementary to each other, each contributing specific expertise to the project with IEDC’s leading work on research in entrepreneurship and digitalization hence contributing a solid empirical foundation for the project.
